Featured Ravello Wedding - Giardini della Principessa di Piemonte and Belmond Caruso

Ameeta and Suneal's wedding took place in the small, romantic town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast with their wedding reception held at the sensational Hotel Belmond Caruso. Ameeta describes the day as magical, classy and romantic and it certainly was a true representation of a wonderful couple and their impeccable style.

Having always loved Italy, the couple had previously visited Ravello & the Amalfi Coast in June 2016, two years before their engagement. They spent the day wandering around Ravello and saw a beautiful bride walking to her wedding, and both said ‘wouldn’t this be the most incredible place to get married one day?!' Suneal proposed in Portofino in 2018 on a private boat and they celebrated with drinks that evening at the Belmond Splendido, a sister property to what would be their wedding venue.

Ameeta had a very clear vision of what she wanted their wedding to be like, picturing a garden setting with beautiful views of the coastline and Ravello (and in particular Belmond Caruso) offered exactly what she had envisaged. The ceremony took place in the gardens close to the town hall 'The Gardens of the Princess of Piemonte' and the floral décor perfectly complimented this pretty setting featuring a huge floral arch, petal aisle carpet and small floral decorations for the chairs. Following the romantic ceremony, the couple were whisked off around the streets for some 1-1 photos with their incredible photographer JoAnne Dunn whilst the rest of the guests enjoyed an aperitif in the famous Wagner gardens of Hotel Caruso and a chance to take in those sensational views.

Suneal wore a tailor made three piece suit by Loro Piana, tailored by McAngus Wainwright in London. He wore monk strap shoes from Crockett & Jones, and a white shirt from Eton. Ameeta chose a full lace, fitted gown from Enzoani, made to measure from the USA. She wanted something fitted, timeless and elegant, and something she knew she would be comfortable in with the weather being so hot.

There was no detail left unconsidered in this wedding, from the welcome signs, stylish name cards and personalised menu prints by Lilac and White; to the small bottles of fresh limoncello and olive oil with fresh herbs for those who didn’t drink alcohol. The gala dinner featured two imperial tables with full length arrangements by Malafronte Fiori using roses, hydrangeas and dahlias. They had both tall crystal pillar candles and shorter candles along the tables too giving a beautiful flickering light as the sun set. The couple had a live pianist during dinner and the bride's young nephew also played a previously rehearsed piece of Italian music for the newlyweds much to the delight of all of the guests. Cake cutting drinks and dancing then followed by the wonderful Infinity Pool at Caruso.
