I am the Creative Director of Sophisticated Weddings, and together with my bilingual team, we specialise in designing and delivering luxury, stylish, and entirely bespoke destination weddings in Sorrento and across the Amalfi Coast, including Positano and Ravello — one of the most breathtaking regions in Italy in which to marry.
With over twelve years of experience planning weddings in this extraordinary part of the world, I have curated and produced celebrations that are deeply reflective of each couple’s individual style, personality, and vision. As a native English and Italian speaker, I ensure seamless communication throughout the entire planning process, so that every detail of your wedding is understood with clarity and nothing is ever lost in translation.
My work is rooted in calm, highly detailed production and refined creative direction, where each celebration is approached as a cohesive whole. I focus on designing weddings that feel considered, atmospheric, and entirely connected to their surroundings — where design, experience, and place are brought together with intention.
British by birth and having lived and worked extensively between the UK and Italy, I bring a natural fluency in both cultures — an essential element in the world of destination weddings. This dual perspective allows me to translate not only language, but expectation, aesthetic, and emotion, ensuring each celebration feels authentic to its setting while remaining deeply reflective of the couple at its centre.
My connection to Italy is both professional and personal, shaped by a life lived between two cultures. This understanding informs every wedding I design, allowing me to navigate both sides with ease — from creative vision to local execution.
The studio works with a limited number of couples each year, offering a highly considered approach to destination weddings in Italy. Each celebration is developed from the ground up, with a focus on atmosphere, storytelling, and a strong sense of place — resulting in weddings that feel effortless, composed, and entirely their own.

Every aspect of your destination wedding is carefully considered and expertly managed from start to finish. Our services encompass ceremony planning, guidance with legal paperwork where required, venue sourcing, floral design and styling, transportation logistics, scheduling and timeline development, photography and videography, hair and makeup, and much more. We collaborate exclusively with trusted, experienced professionals across each discipline, ensuring every element comes together seamlessly and to the highest standard.
