Chris and Sanam travelled from their home in Atlanta along with their closest friends and family to Positano to celebrate their most special day.
Positano is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful destinations in the whole of Italy and is set in a dramatic vertical landscape of colours; the green of the Monti Lattari, the sun kissed peach, pink and terracotta of the houses and the blue of the sea. The streets of Positano share the same explosion of colour and the town bustles with luxury hotels, boutiques, shops, bars and restaurants.
Chris & Sanam chose the incredible sea view terrace of Hotel Marincanto as the location for their romantic, personalised Positano wedding ceremony with musical accompaniment from the traditional guitar and mandolin.
Post ceremony the wedding party enjoyed a prosecco reception with canapes and delicious typical Neapolitan delicacies, whilst enjoying the picture perfect setting for destination wedding photographer Francesco Quaglia to capture some beautiful images.
The traditional guitar and mandolin musicians then led the wedding guests and bridal party through the streets of Positano down to the reception venue, Rada Positano and everyone enjoyed the accompaniment of traditional Neopolitan songs as the bride and groom were greeted by well-wishers with cheers of ‘Auguri!’
The Rada Restaurant is located in a prominent position right on the beach front of Positano and has breath-taking views overlooking the sea. On arrival the wedding party enjoyed a traditional Italian aperitif and were then seated for a sumptuous four course menu. The sophisticated and elegant floral design was all white with delicate glass vases and crystal candle holders, creating a truly magical effect as the sun set in Positano.
After the cutting of the cake, the wedding party headed down to Music on The Rocks to dance the night away and continue the celebrations into the early hours.

“Walking down the stairs and aisle at The Hotel Maricanto while the mandolin players entertained our guests with songs from Romeo & Juliet seemed like it was taken straight from a scene in a movie. Walking through Positano with our wedding party and musical entertainment while random people clapped and cheered for us was a memory that we will never forget. We truly felt like celebrities and we will never forget how much we laughed during the walk down to the Rada.”
“The reception at The Rada on the roof top was simply magical. The table and ambiance were dreamy, the piano player was fantastic and the view of the ocean and the stars was mesmerizing. I had to keep asking myself “is this real or am I dreaming?” The food and wine at the Rada were some of the best that we had while in Positano. The afterparty at Music on the Rocks was a blast! The DJ was incredible and we had an awesome time dancing the night away with our entire wedding party. The wedding was by far one of the most romantic weddings my husband and I have ever attended (luckily it was our wedding!). Not only did you impress my husband and I with your planning abilities but our guests could not stop complimenting us on the experience as well. Thanks again for your time, effort and attention to detail while planning our wedding.”
